A Living Artwork in Constant Transformation The project is based on&nbsp;In C, choreographed by the renowned German choreographer Sasha Waltz to music by Terry Riley. Nagelhus Schia Productions presented the Norwegian premiere of&nbsp;In C&nbsp;in March 2023 and has since performed it over 20 times across the country.The work consists of 53 choreographic sequences that form an open system for individual choices within a shared framework. Each dancer decides for themselves when to move on, when to repeat, and when to connect with others. In&nbsp;In C Community, this structure is expanded: diverse environments, experiences, and expressions come together in the same space. Each performance is unique, and the work is in continuous transformation. The project is both an artistic experience and a social experiment in democracy, presence, and collective responsibility.Participating Actors In C Community&nbsp;brings together over 50 dancers across age, genre, background, and ability. DanseFOT participates through its collaboration with Nagelhus Schia Productions, and DanseRom through its collaboration with Tilt Grow.This makes&nbsp;In C Community&nbsp;a unique meeting point for Norwegian dance art—across genres, generations, and experiences.About Danseløftet Danseløftet&nbsp;2026–2036 is a ten-year national initiative launched by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB to strengthen the role, visibility, and significance of dance in Norway.&nbsp;In C Community&nbsp;is part of this initiative and demonstrates how dance can be both an artistic work, a social structure, and a public meeting place.Original Work The original production of&nbsp;In C&nbsp;was created by Sasha Waltz &amp; Guests. The work was developed at Radialsystem, Berlin, and premiered on March 6, 2021. Sasha Waltz &amp; Guests is supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe.

STICKY Productions (Edginton/Lothe/Olsen/Parsons) is a dance collective of gay, female dance artists based in Oslo. Their works delve into the physical and the sensitive, the playful and the peculiar. Using the open and expressive body, they investigate social themes in productions that move between the actual and the abstract. These productions aim to give their audiences the chance to get close to imagination and to absorb stories kinaesthetically.Their first work Økohelter, has toured extensively in Norway (with performances at Dansens Hus in 2022 and 2023), and was nominated for the Gulljerven and Hedda awards in the ‘best children’s production’ and ‘best dance production’ categories.&nbsp;

- a deeply personal, and intensely political, exploration of gay and Aboriginal identities.

Joel weaves his way through and around the audience, one moment channeling childlike innocence, the next exuding muscular gay-male bravado and moments later crashing to the floor in torment. The audience gradually learns the true story of lost innocence, colonisation and sexual assault that has led to his family and cultural dislocation.Hilarious, provocative and heartfelt, this show tickles the nerve endings of desire while prodding the cavities left by colonisation. Featuring Joel Bray’s trademark confection of conversation, dance and all-you-can-eat audience participation, Daddy is a sweet feast with a deadly aftertaste. The performance involves the use of sweets, including large amounts of powdered sugar. This is a standing performance, but a limited number of priority seats (with restricted view) are available for those who cannot stand for longer periods.

- Joel has developed a reputation as one of the most electric new figures in Australian dance who has an uncanny ability to explore his journey and unapologetically present it in a conversational manner.

Janne-Camilla Lyster er koreograf, forfatter og utøver med bred erfaring innen dans og litteratur. Hun har en doktorgrad fra Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, der hun underviser i koreografi. Lysters arbeid omfatter utendørs dans, koreografi, litteratur og tverrkunstneriske prosjekter, blant annet med samtidsmusikere som Ellen Ugelvik, Lene Grenager and Nikolaus Gangsterer.Hun har presentert verk på scener som Black Box Teater, Dansens Hus, Det Norske Teatret, Den Norske Opera &amp; Ballett, Nasjonalmuseet, Ultimafestivalen, Kunsthall Oslo, samt internasjonalt. I april 2024 viste hun forestillingen Library of Gestures med 20 dansere og to musikere på Dansens Hus. Som utøver har hun blant annet samarbeidet med den amerikanske koreografen Deborah Hay. Lyster har også utgitt flere bøker, inkludert diktsamlinger, romaner og koreografiske partiturer. Pinquins er en eksperimentell musikktrio fra Oslo, bestående av Jennifer Torrence, Sigrun Rogstad Gomnæs og Ane Marthe Sørlien Holen. I 15 år har de skapt verk med komponister, instrumentbyggere og musikere innen sjangre som fri improvisasjon og støymusikk, med fokus på objekter, kropp og stemme for å utfordre tradisjonelle forestillingsformer. Trioen har opptrådt på festivaler som Donaueschingen, Ultima, Spor og Only Connect. I 2023 presenterte de INTERVALLmed Kjersti Alm Eriksen på Borealisfestivalen, og startet et bandprosjekt med Jessie Marino og Inga Margrete Aas.&nbsp;

Bazm Repertoire Armin Hokmi

Armin Hokmi works with dance and choreography. His starting point was as an actor in Iran in 2009, and he has since studied and worked internationally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acting from the Norwegian Theatre Academy (2015–2018) and a Master’s degree in Solo/Dance/Choreography from HZT Berlin (2019–2021).As an associated artist at Montpellier Danse 2024–2026, he explores dance that falls outside traditional categories. His work is characterized by precision, accuracy, and a blend of joy and sensitivity. He previously presented the performance Shiraz at Dansens Hus in August 2025.
