Mia Habib is an Oslo-based dancer and choreographer. She holds an M.A in conflict resolution and  mediation from Tel Aviv University and a choreography education from Oslo National Academy of the Arts.  

For over two decades, Habib has established numerous national and international collaborations to explore art in various contexts and her work has been presented in over thirty countries. Her practice has taken her to dance houses, opera stages, galleries, public spaces, private houses, religious buildings, squats, and sites of protest and conflict around the world.

Books she has published with her association Mia Habib Productions are: Stranger Within (2021, co-edited with Jassem Hindi), How to Die – Inopiné (2022, co-edited with Ashkan Sepahvand), Hula- a handbook (2024, co-edited with Agder Teaterlab) and written the chapter ALL – A Physical Poem of Protest, A Real-Time Negotiation among Strangers in the publication Bare Bodies– Thresholding Life (2024, edited by Mariella Greil).

In the Norwegian public Habib has been outspoken around topics of artistic freedom and racism related to the independent performing arts field, as well as being one of the founders of the group, Jødiske stemmer for rettferdig fred (Jewish Voices for Just Peace), a network of Jews in Norway standing in solidarity with Palestine.

In 2025 it was twenty years since Mia Habib´s first production, Missing In Action, was programmed at Dansens Hus, at that time a nomadic stage. Since then the following performances have been presented at Dansens Hus:
